Most of the other bosses you can clear without basically taking any damage or stress if you want to. Regardless, I've beat the Champion Shambler a couple times, but pretty much every time I've done it, I've needed to either double camp or flee the dungeon due to the multiple afflictions and/or lingering DoTs. HWM not so much), there's a decent chance that you won't have a riposte available when you hit a Shambler altar or get a random one in the darkness. Unless you use HWM or MaAs all the time (which, granted, MaAs are pretty good in Champion areas. Pretty much any random party that can reach him can kill him)Īlso, the Shambler isn't a boss you can really plan your team around because his spawns don't work that way. (As far as Darkest: The Shuffling Horror is much easier than the Shambler. Sure, but Riposte damage isn't that large, especially against 33% PROT, and the big threat is not the Shambler himself, but the tentacles. The Shambler in the Darkest was for me super easy (only wished my healer didn't had a heart attack before the fight). The Shambler will move you around but it doesn't matter if you can still hit him, and he always attack everyone which means any ripost will activate which will attack him 2 times in a single attack. Use any champion with ripost and have the ability to strike from almost all positions. With the right team comp any Shambler is easy.
